Zombicorns are the undead result of a primal war and an ancient outbreak. Back when unicorns roamed the land and sky, their lazy Reptarian predators thought it was unfair that unicorns could simply fly away from them in a chase.
They acquired a vial of the virus that killed the dinosaurs from a local merchant and put it in the unicorns' sparkling mountain spring water. The virus had a cosmic effect when paired with unicorn magic, and instead of preventing them from flying it killed them altogether. The greedy Reptarians who feasted on the contaminated unicorns were killed instantly.
The unicorns that remained were turned into Zombicorns, and undead species doomed to "live" until their heads were blown completely off. Zombicorns are extremely rare and their once-magical horns are priceless. Before they were zombified the unicorns would only eat vegetables, cotton balls, and the marshmallows in kid's cereal.
Now, their undead appetites combined with their adorable past life cause them to terrorize birthday parties, where they attempt to feed off of little children.
